Get involved!

Living Life to the Fullest runs from April 2017 until March 2020. At the moment, we are looking for disabled children and young people and their families to join us to participate as artists at our next Art Retreat in May 2018. We are also welcoming disabled young people and their parents and families for interview.

In Living Life to the Fullest, we want to ensure that our research is as flexible as possible – that participation is shaped and adapted to fit around the needs and desires of young people and their families. In this spirit, the links below offer a flavour of each role, which can be tailored to fit individual needs and commitments.

How can I get involved?

  • Artists: We are seeking 10 young disabled people (8 – 30 years) to participate in an Arts Retreat, taking place in May 2018.
  • Parent and Family Interviewees: We are seeking 25 parents, carers and/or wider family members to participate in an interview.
  • Young Interviewees: We are seeking 10 young disabled people (8 – 30 years) to participate in an interview. The interview can take place face-to-face at a venue of your choice or online (e.g. through Skype, Facebook Messenger or email). See here to find out more!

If you have any questions or require a more accessible copy of any the above documents (e.g. for younger children and/or in Easy Read) don’t hesitate to get in touch: k.liddiard@sheffield.ac.uk
